Starting as a young engineer, Brandon caught the tail end of the glorious era of all-analog recording while on staff at legendary Bearsville Studios fourteen years ago. From there he… okay, enough with the third-person act. After Bearsville, I moved on to Allaire Studios. At both studios, I was fortunate to work alongside and learn from many of the greatest recording artists and producers in the industry. I have gone on to produce and/or mix releases by a wide range of artists, including Secret Machines, The Zutons, VHS or Beta, New Order, Dar Williams, Joan Baez, Shivaree, Martha Wainwright, and Don Byron. Releases by Skoota Warner, 101 Crustaceans, Shooter Jennings and Fiona Apple are forthcoming.
I recently expanded into film music production, which began with engineering on the Grammy-nominated soundtrack to Across The Universe. The Runaways, Public Enemies, Tropic Thunder, My Own Lovesong, The Tempest and Never Let Me Go have since followed.
I have also just launched a music licensing venture called Juxtaposed Music, LLC which specializes in original music composition and licensing pre-cleared songs for synch placements in film, television, new media and advertising productions.
